Two guitars. One stage. Sparks will fly. Join us at The Emerald Hound for a high-energy night of live music as Josh Parker and Ben Bunch go head-to-head in a dueling guitar session you won’t forget. From riffs to rhythm, these two seasoned pickers will trade licks and push each other to new heights in a show full of talent, passion, and pure stringed firepower.

Josh Parker is an internationally known professional guitarist, educator, composer and author from Louisville, Ky. He was a recipient of the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Scholarship Award during his schooling and has been a featured soloist at JEN (Jazz Education Network) and KMEA (Kentucky Music Educators Association) conventions as well as festivals throughout Kentucky. He holds guitar performance degrees from Morehead State University and the University of Louisville. He now resides as a professor of music at Campbellsville University teaching jazz, guitar and music technology.
Benjamin Bunch is a classically trained guitarist that seeks to fuse his love of contrapuntal classical works with the ever growing soundscape that is jazz. He holds a performance degree of guitar studies from Eastern Kentucky University and is currently working towards a master's degree in musicology at Campbellsville University. He has performed at local festivals across the state like the Fort Harrod Jazz Fest and even appeared on the Red Barn Radio show. He has shared venues with the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet just to name a few.
